As Prophet - Chapter 6

Episode 6. The death penalty told me to speak
Dalcheon turned his head. It was clearly a situation where they could collide, but he had no intention of swinging his sword at the woman.
“The tax that has been submerged cannot be recovered. It is something that all the people of this town will have to bear again. Is it okay for you, a mere boatman, to sink a ship and pursue your own interests while causing tears of blood to flow from the eyes of others?”
“The sea route was not good and it was an accident. It is not a matter of debating who is right or wrong.”
“Where is the guy who started the fire?”
Dalcheon suddenly jumped down and grabbed one of the men by the collar and dragged him out. The man, who had turned pale, looked up at Sarangmaru, then at Dalcheon, and held on tenaciously. Dalcheon dragged the man over and placed a hand on his shoulder.
“Ahhhhh!”
The bastard screamed in agony, wondering where and how he had done it. And his lower body was excited. Yoon Gaedong turned his head and looked away. That was no use.
“You started the fire?”
“Yes, I was wrong.”
“There were many people on board, and three songs were also on board.”
“I was wrong.”
“Why did you set the fire?”
“The captain ordered me to do it.”
“Who is the ship owner?”
When Dalcheon gently grabbed the other shoulder, the guy started trembling and pointed to Yoon Gaedongi on the love bed.
“Is that so? Are you saying that the ship owner, Yun Gaedong, ordered the fire and sinking of the ship?”
“That, that, that’s right.”
The stuttering man’s face turned yellow. It might be because of the bonfire. Dalcheon hit the man’s back with the fingertips he had bent.
“Ahhh! Oh!”
The bastard’s body froze with two screams. I carefully sat the collapsing bastard down.
“Ahem. There’s one.”
Dalcheon squatted down in front of the guy.
“But this is, he could say that he set the fire on the ship owner’s orders and then later deny it. It would be right to leave a letter of confession and sign it. Please prepare some writing and ink.”
In this dangerous place where arms clash with each other, he asks so calmly for what is needed.
Yun Gaedongi looked at the back of the servants’ quarters with a groan. Two people wearing black uniforms were holding swords in their left hands. It was a style that was popular among the swordsmen these days. They didn’t tie their swords to belts, but held the scabbards in their left hands and threatened people. Yun Gaedongi asked the two men as if giving them orders.
“Please take care of that guy.”
The two men made eye contact and then approached Dalcheon. Dalcheon moved the witness he had been trying to catch to the back wall and sat down, then stood up.
“Please.”
Yun Gaedong was sure that the two of them would have no trouble dealing with one reckless guy. He came in strutting around, but he was young and small. No matter what anyone says, studying is worth the time. It was because he didn’t know that Dalcheon was a master of qigong who could point blood with his fingertips. The two of them also didn’t see it because they came out late. The power of a person who knows how to operate a bet is beyond the imagination of ordinary people. Not only can they fly in the sky and blow wind from their palms, but they can also kill hundreds of enemies by themselves.
As the two approached each other, keeping their distance from each other, Dalcheon tilted his head. They weren’t the people he had seen at Segok-seon.
“I was not on the Segok Line, so I have no business with you. It is none of your business, so if you step aside, there will be no more trouble.”
Above, Yun Gaedongi laughed out loud and proudly.
“You seem to be getting scared now. I specially invited you because I was worried someone like you would show up. Hehehe.”
“Is it not possible to do it with words? The executioner told me to do it with words.”
Although he was grumbling to himself, it was clearly heard by everyone.
“It’s not too late. If you admit your mistake and step down, I’ll make it seem like the trouble here never happened.”
“They say a fart makes a bad person angry, haha. You should admit your mistake and set things right. When you sank the ship, you hid the stolen taxes and the evidence. We should bring back the stolen taxes and make sure that the people here don’t have to suffer anymore, and we should compensate those who died in the process. I’ve already secured some evidence, so it won’t be a big deal to set things right in court. I’ll set things right even if it means seizing all of your assets.”
Dalcheon’s threats were so plain as if he was reading a book that they did not enter people’s ears. The men who had been approaching split left and right and stood on either side of Dalcheon. The white swords pointed at Dalcheon.
“That’s why I told you not to do that. Those who just rush in will probably get hit a few times, but there’s nothing you can do about those who come out with a knife. I have no choice but to kill them.”
Dalcheon took out his sword and laid it horizontally in front of his eyes. Two swords flew at Dalcheon almost simultaneously, aiming for his upper and middle. Power and energy. He swung them like a sword. He dodged one, blocked the other, and stepped aside from the men.
As his feet on the ground moved diagonally, he turned his upper body, and swung his sword, cutting his empty side. He didn’t intend to kill him, so he cut with the back of his sword, but it was his side. His ribs broke, and he fell down, gasping for breath. It happened in an instant.
“one!”
There are very few people who have the will to fight an enemy even after being hit several times. People are powerless when they are hit once anywhere.
Dalcheon turned around and crossed his legs while stretching out his arms toward the guy who was moving in the opposite direction. The man was advancing like the wind, and he quickly caught up with the guy who was striking and retreating. Dalcheon’s sword shattered the guy’s shoulder. A scream tore through the air, and the guy with a broken shoulder dropped his weapon and fell to the ground.
“two!”
Yun Gaedong-i couldn’t see it properly because it happened so quickly. All he saw was the result of two capable swordsmen who had been given the job by a powerful person in Hanyang falling in vain.
“What is this, this!”
Dalcheon jumped up onto Sarangmaru. That old man lives better than the rich man.
“Hey you.”
Yun Gaedong-i shook his head and stepped back. It seemed like he was looking for someone to help him, but if you looked closely, it seemed like he was shaking his head habitually.
“What are these guys doing?”
As Dalcheon approached, the bastard stepped back and pulled his body out. Dalcheon took two steps and blocked the bastard’s retreat. He wouldn’t let it go. He said he would do it verbally, but it seemed like he had no intention of doing so. He immediately pulled out his index and middle fingers like swords and touched the shoulder of Yun Gaedongi, who was retreating.
“Ahh.”
I lightly touched him, and he immediately collapsed. He collapsed with all four feet forward, as if he had given up on the world. He pressed the acupoints with his fingertips, but since his inner strength was supporting him, he collapsed in vain. It was as if he was using some kind of secret magic.
“Please, spare my life.”
“A guy like you is not the kind of person who should be treated with manners. Get on your knees!”
Dalcheon was not the young officer that Yun Gaedongi had seen at Segok-seon. He spoke simply and swung roughly. Power supported his words, and they became the truth and appeared before him. He trembled at the invisible force that made it impossible for him not to do as he said. The sound of his heart pounding rose up into his throat.
“Please save me.”
“Let’s get to work!”
“Yeah, yeah.”
Dalcheon examined the bastard’s body and began interrogating him.
“Did you sink the Segok Line on purpose?”
“no.”
As soon as he finished speaking, Dalcheon’s finger hit the philtrum. After hitting the Geogweol point and hitting a few more places, his body froze. Then, his stiff body twisted to the side, bending at an angle that no human could possibly take.
I was so scared that if I bent a little more, my body would break. I held on with all my strength, but the more I bent, the more my face turned towards my back. I couldn’t even breathe because my body was twisted like a rag.
Dalcheon turned his body halfway to the side. Pain engulfed his entire body. What was more frightening than the pain was the fear that he would soon die.
“And if you have half an angle, you’ll probably die.”
“Save… … me… … and… give… … me… ten… … show.”
My body spun like a piece of candy. My face turned counterclockwise and reached my right shoulder. The more I exerted force, the more my body spun. Slow time seemed distant. If I continued to spin like this, I felt like my existence would turn into a piece of candy and disappear.
“You’re not going to admit it, are you?”
“Please save me.”
“I don’t understand. Why would you do this, Yoon Gaedong-i? I’m asking you to confess to the things you’ve done. If you don’t admit it, you’ll never be normal, and you might even die.”
“Please save me.”
He’s a vicious bastard. Even though I told him my life was in danger, he didn’t admit his wrongdoings and just kept asking for his life. Dalcheon shook his head slightly and got up.
“This won’t work.”
“Please save me.”
Dalcheon walked out. Then he put his foot on the railing of the chicken coop that had flown in. As if he was going to leave at any moment, Yun Gaedong-i tried to move forward while sitting down. The more he tried, the more his body got twisted.
* Railing: A railing made by erecting a plank with a narrow bottom and wide top, and then leaning against it.
The women who had been sticking their heads out from behind the veranda of the inner quarters came out, knelt down, and bowed their heads.
“Please save me!”
“Please save my father!”
Although he possessed power and wisdom beyond the world, Dalcheon hesitated at the fervent request of people.
“Your husband, your father, sank the Segok ship on purpose. And the Segok was stolen. What should we do? All the people of this town should prepare the Segok again. The barley has just come out. We have barely passed the Barley Pass. How hard it must have been. And when the ship sank, the military officer and the soldiers died. What should we do?”
“I was wrong. Please save me.”
Although the answer was similar to the one he wanted, Dalcheon couldn’t help but look disappointed. It was because it came out of the mouth of a woman who seemed to be Yun Gaedong’s wife, not Yun Gaedong. It seemed like it would never come out of his own mouth. He had done something that would kill him, but he couldn’t kill someone for personal gain.
“Just live your life like that. I’m going to die.”
Dalcheon was about to jump down when his family came running.
“Please save me!”
“Please save my father!”
Even though they are bad guys, their families are not all bad guys. Tears poured out like dog poop from Yoon Gaedong’s eyes. Still, he did not admit his mistake. It seemed like he had no thoughts at all. He must have thought that if he could just endure the current pain, the wealth he gained from this incident would be his. If he didn’t die, would he try to hold on?
Dalcheon shook his head.
“You won’t die. If you get entangled little by little, you’ll eventually die. It seems like wealth is more valuable than life.”
When Dalcheon retreated, Yun Gaedongi became anxious.
“Let me go!”
Dalcheon shook his head with a lonely expression. What he saw when he came out to learn about the world was a crowd of people who valued money more than their lives. They converted all the values of the world into money and lived only for that.
“Will you admit your guilt and stand before the judgment seat of the law?”
“Please save me.”
In the most important part, he replaces it with a request to be spared. Dalcheon left him behind and went down. No, he jumped down from the high tower. He caught the person in the house who he remembered and made him confess his crime and received the sentence.
When the confessions of more than ten people were made and sentenced, including the one who started the fire, the one who killed the officer guarding the rear, and the one who almost drowned to death after rushing at Dalcheon who tried to stop him, Yun Gaedongi’s wife and daughter came down to the yard and knelt down.
“Please save me, sir. Please save my husband.”
“What should I say to the man whose husband was killed? What should I say to the people of Hyeon who have just crossed the barley pass and have to endure without anything to eat?”
“Isn’t it that person’s fault?”
“Everyone points to the captain, Yun Gaedongi.”
“What should I do?”
“Confess your sins and face the judgment of the law. You must be compensated for the losses you have caused.”
“I will do that.”
“I speak about results. Words don’t do it.”
