Franchise God Episode 1644
351. Once Upon a Time in 1950(1)
The interim Minister of Defense of Ukraine joined the command of the Korean expeditionary force.
The original Minister of Defense had died, and the acting Minister was a two-star general, but somehow the position was handed down to him.
“War is not won by fighting, but by winning first.”
Robot Ha Su-young wore a five-star military cap on his head monitor and explained to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense.
“The occupying forces in Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk will surrender within a week at the most.”
The interim minister didn’t believe it at first.
I would rather believe you if you could destroy them in a day. But you say you can get them to surrender in a week?
I thought it was realistically impossible.
“They say that even a scholar who starves for three days will climb over a wall and steal powdered milk. That’s why the saying, “Ten times of fear” came from. It means that no belief can overcome instinct. Let’s do a medical test to see how much fat you’ve accumulated in your liver.”
The expeditionary force first sent a number of unmanned drones into the occupied territory, transmitting an ultimatum broadcast via directional radio waves and external speakers.
“The Ukrainian-South Korean Joint Forces Expeditionary Forces Command informs the Russian military.”
“From now on, all of your military’s means of communication will be blocked.”
“I will completely destroy your army’s food supplies again.”
“Surrender before you lose the strength to raise the white flag. That’s all.”
And then a massive and powerful EMP attack was unleashed upon the entire occupation force.
It was enough to burn out the electronic circuits of tanks that were surrounded by EMP protection in preparation for a nuclear attack.
The Russian command in the three occupied territories became blind and deaf in an instant.
In the midst of chaos, each commander heard a desperate report.
“The entire food supply warehouse has been destroyed!”
“What? What’s the damage? How many supplies are there left?”
“Totally destroyed! Everything was so broken that I couldn’t even eat a can of canned food!”
“how?”
After pestering the soldiers, officers, and cadres near the warehouse, I was finally able to piece together the information.
“Taking advantage of the paralysis caused by the EMP attack, the suicide drones swarmed the food warehouse. The ammunition warehouse was left untouched.”
“These guys, they want us to starve and do this? What about the other units’ situations?”
“I can’t contact you so I don’t know.”
“Send a messenger!”
The Russian occupying forces wanted to return to the Middle Ages.
But there was no horse to burn the messenger.
So, they put a messenger on a bicycle and restored communication between the units.
The three regional commanders realized that they were in the same situation.
All electronic equipment has been destroyed by the EMP, communications are obviously impossible, and food supplies have been completely destroyed, so we will have to starve starting dinner right away.
“But it can last for three days. Since it’s wartime, doesn’t each soldier always carry three days’ worth of combat rations?”
But they say it didn’t happen.
Not only did the soldiers forget the combat rations they were carrying whenever they were bored, but the checks on their combat rations were not carried out thoroughly.
When we averaged out the food, each soldier had an average of 0.1 units of food. It was better to just assume they had nothing.
The commanders finally realized.
“We’re screwed now.”
A person loses strength even if he starves for just one day.
What is a day like for a combat soldier who burns a lot of calories? He’d be out of breath if he skipped even one meal.
After two days or so, all the soldiers in the occupied territory will be gasping for breath, unable to control their own bodies.
As word spread, the soldiers were already busy searching for the food they had stored away.
“We must withdraw immediately, before we waste more strength!”
As of now, the most deeply occupied territory, Porozhye (the deeper Kherson and Crimea peninsulas had already been recaptured by the enemy) hastily began to withdraw.
Because it was located in a sharp spot that was most likely to get hit.
Donetsk hesitated between withdrawal and defense, while Luhansk, the last line of defense, decided to hold out, believing that the mainland would soon provide backup.
But there was no support from home.
After two days, there were no more soldiers walking around.
Everyone was so weak from not having eaten that they were walking around like ghosts.
The younger and healthier I became, the less I could control my body.
It took less than four days for the three occupying forces to surrender.
There were not a single casualty during this process.
The Ukrainian interim minister was simply thrilled by the miraculous achievement.
“Believe it, this is an incredible result. You have achieved a great feat that will be remembered in the history of war.”
“Highly developed war technology is a strategy and tactic in itself.”
The Korean military had a complete grasp of the situation of the occupying forces in real time.
They precisely surveyed the locations of supplies, weapons and equipment, barracks, command posts, etc., completely tying up their hands and feet with an EMP attack, blinding their eyes and ears, and destroying all their food supplies to starve them.
It was neat and concise, but it looked beautiful in the eyes of the Ukrainian interim minister.
Originally, simple was the best. The problem is that no one can do it simply.
“If war cannot be avoided, it would be better to make it into a game.”
“That sounds like an unusual quote. What does it mean?”
“What does it take for war to become a game? What is the crucial difference between war and a game?”
The Ukrainian interim minister was unable to answer.
Robot Ha Soo-young spoke in a tone that seemed to be teaching step by step.
“War kills people, but games don’t kill people.”
“……ah!”
“Not a single person died in our expeditionary force until we crossed France and arrived here. And the enemy suffered no casualties either. This is because we avoided any battles that could result in death.”
It seemed surprising to the Ukrainian interim minister that with all the shelling on Kherson and Crimea, there were no enemy casualties.
It must have been possible because it was all a threat bombardment.
“We will apply the same method to the operation to pacify the southern part of Volgograd. We will starve you to death, but we will not kill you with guns, swords, shells, or missiles.”
When Robot Ha Soo-young said that, the Ukrainian interim minister felt an inexplicable eerie feeling.

The southern Black Sea port city of Novorossiysk, the neighboring Krasnodar, and Sochi, located much further south.
The Korean expeditionary force adopted the same strategy in these cities.
The EMP destroyed all electronic equipment, paralyzing the city’s functions.
What would happen if an EMP attack hit a densely populated city?
First, all the home appliances and cell phones break down.
Next, the power goes out. The city is plunged into complete darkness because the power grid control system has failed.
If the power goes out, the water supply pumps in the water supply system will stop (the system will cool down before that), and no water will come out when you turn on the tap. Not to mention the gas.
Electricity, water, gas, communications, transportation.
All the by-products of modern civilization are silenced, and the residents are forced to experience a daily life that has been time-slipped back to the primitive era.
When a city finds itself in this situation, crimes of all kinds usually run rampant, starting with looting.
However, this was blocked by an unmanned army of drones and android soldiers sent by the expeditionary force.
Surveillance was established wherever there were people, and terrified residents listened to propaganda broadcasts.
“Novorossiysk has been annexed to Ukraine as of now. Residents who do not want to live in a republic belonging to Ukraine should leave for Russia immediately.”
“Residents who do not leave the city during the grace period will be considered to have decided to live as Ukrainian citizens. There will be no referendum.”
“We will not invade without permission like the Russian army and take the lives of the people. Those who wish to leave, please leave. We will provide transportation and food, and there will be no restrictions on the precious metals and cash you can carry.”
And then Ukrainian soldiers, escorted by drones and android soldiers, started going from house to house, collecting pledges.
Agreeing to renounce Russia and become a Ukrainian nation.
If you agree to the pledge, you will be given a citizen number and provided with food and other daily necessities.
He did not force anyone to take the oath. He simply left those who refused to do anything.
Those who refused to annex were faced with a choice: starve to death or pack up and move to Russia.
Eventually, residents who did not want to become Ukrainian citizens packed up their belongings and left for the north in vehicles provided by the expeditionary force.
The expedition force moved north, sweeping from the southernmost region as if scraping a net.

At a time when Russia was in disarray after losing Crimea and four other occupied territories.
Chinese troops, having completely withdrawn from Ukraine, finally gathered near the Yalu River.
Upstream, engineers were busy building pontoon bridges to cross the river.
“What’s the situation in North Korea?”
“It is said that communication with the ground troops sent in the first batch was cut off. They kept it a secret for a long time, but when they couldn’t do it anymore, they finally informed the Beijing government.”
“I don’t understand. Why are you delaying the report and creating this division?”
“But wouldn’t it be embarrassing if it became known that the ground troops sent with the last of their strength were blocked by not the South Korean army but the Chinese army, so they hid it?”
“Our Republic and North Korea are like the rich. Where can you find such an unvirtuous father who scolds his son for his shortcomings?”
Commander-in-Chief Ling Qinchen clicked his tongue.
North Korea’s role is to invade China and create a pretext for China to intervene.
If the first vanguard force was destroyed, then North Korea has fulfilled its mission.
But it’s pathetic that they were hiding it because they were embarrassed that it collapsed so quickly.
“It is not that I do not understand, but because of that, the time to start the great undertaking of our republic has been delayed so much.”
In fact, from China’s perspective, it was just the right time.
Because the army troops that were pushed out of France into Ukraine have now joined forces in the east.
Even if North Korea had informed us sooner, the timing of preparations for crossing the Yalu River would not have been much different from now.
The garrison across the Yalu River has completed construction of a pontoon bridge.
Now, as soon as the order is given, we will cross the river.
Meanwhile, there was an uproar on the Russian side.
It was shocking news that Ukraine had recaptured all of its lost territories and was even moving north across the border into southern Russia.
“No matter how much the Russian bears were exposed as a threat, I wonder how they could stand by helplessly while the mainland was swept away.”
“Commander, if you think about it the other way around, it also means that Korea has put that much effort into the Ukraine expedition.”
In other words, the defense capabilities of the Korean Peninsula will be extremely weak.
The commander thought so, and the government in Beijing appears to have made a similar judgment.
The order to sortie was finally given.
“We must help our ally, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, to maintain peace on the Korean Peninsula.”
China, under the pretext of helping its allies, declared that it would join the Sino-North Korean War.
Finally, the Chinese army crossed the Yalu River and galloped toward Pyongyang together with the waiting North Korean army.

South Korea, North Korea, the United States, the Soviet Union, China.
The main characters of the 1950s are gathered together again.
It was a war in which the Swimming Federation participated as a substitute player instead of the United Nations.
“Master, Japan is missing.”
“The US will come in the middle. It was like that last time too.”
