I Became a Childhood Friend With the Villainous Saintess - Chapter 210
210 – Afterword
hello.
The day has come for me to leave a review like this.
In many ways, it doesn’t feel real, and somehow I feel like I’ll have to take a deep breath and wake up to start working on the next episode.
To tell you in advance, the side story is scheduled to be serialized around June.
The reason it’s June is because the Nobelpia New Release Challenge is in June…..
It won’t be much, but I’ll give you a few episodes as a bribe to promote the new work.
The first side story to be introduced will be the one featuring the child of Rajen and Sirien.
I think that any pure love story should have a scene like this at least once, so I don’t plan on leaving it out!
The new work I have in mind right now is a TS broadcast.
It’s probably closer to no-man’s-land. Even if there were some yuri or dark magic mixed in, I don’t think the proportion would be that big.
Basically, the route is set as No Man’s Land.
I’m thinking of the level of exhaustion being similar to this work, but… depending on the case, I may have to go with exhaustion instead of mild exhaustion.
Now that I think about it, didn’t I do a good job of maintaining the level of ‘weakness’?
Actually, I was going to mention this level of weakness a few times in the review, but I deleted them all.
I’ve erased everything from my memory, but I’m not sure if anything is still there.
The misfortunes suffered by Lazen and Sirien were limited to indirect forms, and no psychological descriptions were necessarily used to delve deeper into their misfortunes.
I think the level of corruption will continue to be like this in the future.
Anyway…. This is why the next new work isn’t a pure love story.
Since I first greeted you with a pure love story, it was only natural that Pure Love would be a candidate for my next work.
However… I felt like I needed a little more time to gather input and prepare.
Personally, I really like writing that moves my emotions when I read it.
It’s not like I’m like, “I made my readers angry… I can control my emotions!”
I hope that while reading my writing, you have felt a sense of excitement or a sense of empathy with the characters’ emotions.
So rather than writing mechanically, I want to accumulate a lot of stimulating material in advance.
I’ve used up quite a bit of material for this piece, so I’m planning to take some time and then tackle a pure love story.
I think the next one will be a little shorter than this one.
This work had quite a few twists and turns during its serialization.
At the end of the last challenge, I was planning to just hang up my work and slowly fill up 100 episodes..
After I built it, I soon got a monopoly plus restriction, so I had to set sail first and then build the ship.
It wasn’t a piece of writing that was completely without a framework, but I had to fight against time in many ways.
So, personally, I think there was quite a difference in quality between the parts I had in mind in advance and the parts I didn’t.
The chapter after the Illencia Grand Duchy chapter, which was the highlight, was particularly devastating.
At first, I thought the content would be divided into two parts, with Part 2 developing the story of Ellis and the original story.
However, I felt like the story of the main characters, Rajen and Sirien, was over, so it wasn’t as enjoyable as I had hoped.
I feel like I keep talking about the main character without mentioning him.
It was a disaster caused by my lack of experience…
So, we brought the story of the Archduchess, which was originally going to be a side story, into the main story, and during that time we changed a lot of the later story.
I tried my best to remove parts that seemed like they would stretch out, but honestly, I’m a bit disappointed with the result.
Baron Iskente survived thanks to that. He was a lucky guy in many ways.
I think I could have done better if I had more time…
What other writers cannot do within the given time is not their original ability.
He said that once the serialization cycle gets too long, it becomes unmanageable, and that if it continues like that, both the writer and the readers will get tired.
There are things that come to mind and things that I feel, so I decided to go in a direction that would not interfere with the serialization cycle as much as possible.
The review has become quite long.
I will use this experience as a learning tool to write better articles next time.
The driving force that allowed me to run until the end was all thanks to the readers.
Once again, thank you very much.
