I Became The Academy Necromancer - Chapter 406
Side Story. Way to Go
“Whoa.”
I open my tired eyes.
I didn’t fall asleep until quite late yesterday, so I thought it would take some time to wake up.
Surprisingly, it hadn’t been long since dawn, so the sound of chirping sparrows and fresh air were coming into the room through the window.
When I lifted my head slightly at the feeling of weight and warmth in my chest and arms, I saw Eleanor and Aria sleeping on either side, hugging me tightly.
‘I was overly excited yesterday.’
You probably never thought of it.
They thought I would hang out and play with them. As a result, the two of them laughed and talked all morning with much higher tension than usual.
I felt embarrassed that they were so happy just by being with me. Because I felt like I was valuing people too highly.
But no matter what, I was satisfied that I had made them happy.
I often thought it wouldn’t be a bad idea to spend time with these two people.
‘As long as you don’t cross the line too far.’
We should avoid things like Eleanor wearing her match underwear or Aria suddenly laying me down on the bed and trying to pounce on me.
It was a time when I felt like I was raising two young wolves, but anyway.
With my eyes gently closed, I look down at the two people cutting my arms on either side.
He carefully put his hands together and placed them on their heads, stroking them gently.
“I always felt guilty for putting too much of a burden on you who were still young.”
Two people shaking.
Since I knew right away that he was pretending to sleep, I thought it was cute and continued talking.
“I am now in my third year. There are two years left until I graduate from the academy. “I hope that at least then I can live a life worthy of a student.”
At that age, there are experiences and memories that can only be made at that age.
I hope that the two people who didn’t get to enjoy that time properly, either because they were caught up in me or because of fate, get along well.
“Be happy. For me.”
I hope the time I took from them will be repaid in return. If so, I might feel a little more at ease.
Kuuk.
Two people’s hands cross each other and they hug my waist tightly. That alone was a sufficient answer.
“Thank you for letting us see your back.”
As Aria confessed, she snuggled deeper into my arms.
“It gave me an experience that no one else can. “My greatest pride is that I was able to grow while watching you.”
Strengthening her hands, Eleanor expressed her gratitude.
I also smiled with satisfaction at the sense that the path I had taken had brought some kind of enlightenment to them.
“There is one idiot who sees the same thing and still doesn’t realize it.”
“Go and tell that fool too.”
The boy who had been watching me from behind on the path I walked has lost his senses and is wandering.
It will probably be the last lesson.
“Okay, I should go.”
Now it was time to go meet Owen Baltani.
“But can I live at your house when I graduate?”
“Or should I find a house in Gray Pond?”
“… “Tell me about that after you graduate.”
“You touched my younger sister, but isn’t it okay to touch a student too?”
“Ready for your first princess experience.”
“The hero is also ready. “I’m on standby right now.”
It was a bit creepy that the two people were looking forward to the moment when the relationship between teacher and student was broken.
* * *
“So you stayed up all night playing with the kids?”
Although I spent time with Eleanor and Aria, the biggest reason I came to Gray Pond was of course.
In front of me was a blonde woman oozing lemon scent. She is Erica Bright, staring at me with eyes that are unusually bright.
We tried to go to her royal palace for lunch, but before we knew it, she had come to the front of the hotel where we were staying and was waiting for us.
“I didn’t cross the line or anything.”
She just played cards or board games with the kids while eating a late-night snack.
There were efforts by the two girls to cross the line or to make the atmosphere s*xy through betting, but Stella neatly blocked that atmosphere.
“…”
Even if I said that, being dissatisfied is just being dissatisfied. I carefully held her hand and headed out into the street.
Erica was embarrassed to be suddenly taken away, but she hurriedly put on the hat she had brought and covered her face.
Actually, the fact that she, a candidate for Grand Mage, is walking on the streets with a man probably doesn’t really affect the outcome.
Still, it’s not a bad thing to be cautious in everything.
“I don’t think I should stay in Greypond for too long. There are problems with the gods, but Findeneye and the dark spirit are making a fuss because they are frustrated.”
“The two of you… It’s worth it.”
Erica seems to have relieved my mood just by walking down the street with me while holding my hand, so she joins in the conversation.
However, the way she put a little pressure on her hand made it seem like she didn’t want to let go.
“It was only a few days, but once I met some people, I decided to leave without any regrets.”
“…”
She wanted to tell me that I could come at any time, but Erica puffed out her cheeks slightly, as if she was sad that she was leaving.
“Recently.”
Erica glances at me.
“My family is saying why not try marrying again? Now that you’re gone, it looks like they want to form an alliance with the nobles in the metropolitan area again.”
“…”
“Of course I refused, and now the family is in a position where they can’t force me. Rather, the family is watching me.”
Erica, who speaks with dignity, has completely shed her previous wavering appearance.
Not only has his magic her grown her, but his maturity her her as an individual has also improved.
Even as she said these things, she didn’t change her expression, just smiled softly and gave me confidence.
‘… ‘Aha.’
But why does she say this?
She didn’t need to think much about that. I guess it means that I have become more perceptive when it comes to relationships with the opposite s*x as I have spent time with many women.
Nothing much was said.
In the first place, conveying something through words doesn’t really suit me.
He simply let go of her hand, stretched it out and wrapped it around her waist. Then pull it into my arm.
“Ah.”
She naturally rested her cheek on my shoulder. With just that action, Erica’s expression softened, and it seemed like all of her complaints about Eleanor and Aria from yesterday were resolved.
“Hmph.”
Even though it must be uncomfortable for her to walk, Erica goes out of her way to put her hand around my waist.
We don’t care if people around us see us, so to others, we can’t help but look like an immature couple.
In fact, people passing by glanced at me thinking it was strange.
Nevertheless, Erica did not relax her posture at all.
“Is it okay for an archmage candidate to be like this?”
Even though she’s wearing a hat, it doesn’t completely cover her face.
When I asked Erica, embracing her more, as if embracing her, she answered with a bright smile.
“If this is why you can’t become an archmage, it’s okay if you don’t have to.”
“Well, it’s not that important.”
Her fiancée of Deius had asked her to do her, her last her, her last her arrowhead should fall upon her.
She also made it possible to establish a strong position within the kingdom.
It’s already been enough.
Erica and the Bright family were not in such danger that she had to become an archmage.
Erica seemed to like something about what I said and lightly rubbed her cheek.
“I know that? “Has everyone I met recently been worried or supportive about the Archmage?”
“Well, I guess everyone is like that.”
Well, it’s not an easy position, it’s the Griffin Kingdom, the wizard on the right side of the throne, and a position considered the best in the kingdom.
For a wizard, it could be said to be the lowest position socially attainable.
Of course, people around her would have cheered for Erica or expressed their concerns about her.
“But you’re not?”
“There’s no need to consider it special, right?”
I just felt like she was attaching too much meaning to the actions of a person like me.
“It’s because you couldn’t see it. This is very serious. Especially in the case of my family and the academy dean, they put a lot of pressure on me, telling me I have to be good to them, and they even send me packages that are good for my health every week.”
“…”
For the Bright family, it would of course be good if Erica became an archmage, and in the case of Lovern Academy, if Erica, a former professor, became an archmage, the status of her academy she would rise.
Even though Erica didn’t want it, she was receiving the expectations and support of many people.
“Does it matter if I don’t become an archmage?”
It was a mischievous question.
Even though she already knew the answer, Erica said she really wanted to hear it and she was looking up at me.
I didn’t really like the fact that what I had to say felt prepared like a play script.
From noble mtl dot come
“It doesn’t matter.”
Because she loved the woman next to her more than that.
“Because you will always be brilliant and beautiful.”
“Hee.”
Erica seems to be satisfied with my words as her steps become lighter and she looks around.
Then, her face blushed and she whispered to me.
“What should I do?”
“Don’t say it.”
I already knew what he was going to say. Because this is what other women have said many times.
“I can’t stand it.”
“Hold on. “You’re going to become a great wizard.”
“Then don’t get excited.”
Erica lifted her tiptoes and kissed me in the middle of the street, then began to drag me away, letting out her seductive breath.
