I Entered a Gacha Game That Had Been Abandoned for 10 Years - Chapter 199
199 – Post-Completion Review.
Hello, readers. This is Bomhanbangul.
At first, I wondered when I would be able to complete the novel that I had been working on for so long. Now that it’s finally done, I feel a sense of accomplishment.
In fact, when I was serializing the novel, I had so many things I wanted to say in the postscript. But now that I’m actually writing the postscript, my mind is blank and I can’t think of anything.
However, the first thing I want to say to my readers is thank you for reading my imperfect writing.
In fact, as I was completing the 10-year hiatus and writing this postscript, I had a lot of regrets.
There were still some unresolved plot points in the novel.
For example, the relationship with the emperor, the kingdom that only appeared in the first half, and the sub-stories.
In addition, the heroes were always hanging around the protagonist, Kim Hyun-woo.
In fact, I had already planned out the sub-stories and the heroes’ daily lives.
However, the reason I didn’t include the sub-stories was because the story was progressing faster than I thought and I didn’t think it would be interesting.
The main story was already progressing smoothly with the relationships between the heroes being restored, and I thought that if I suddenly added a sub-story, the pacing of the novel would be ruined.
Above all, I felt that the main story was progressing too slowly and that it would feel like I was just dragging it out, so I decided to boldly cut the sub-stories and focus on the main story.
As far as I could tell, the main theme of this novel was the return of the heroes who had been abandoned for 10 years and their happy reunion with the protagonist.
…Even though I tried to take care of the characters in between the main story, their individual portions were small…
In fact, I’m thinking of writing a spin-off after taking a short break and writing a sequel to the epilogue.
Of course, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to find the time, since I’m busy with my main job, but I’ll try my best to make time.
And, I’m also very grateful to the readers who always left comments.
It made me feel like I was back in middle school when I used to get excited about receiving comments on my Joara parody.
And I would also like to express my gratitude to the readers who supported me.
In particular, one supporter wrote to me that they had started enjoying reading again after seeing my novel, and that made me feel really good.
The fact that my writing could motivate someone really touched my heart.
Thank you so much.
…In fact, I’m not sure how to end this postscript since I’ve been writing without any structure. ^^;
So, I’ll end it with a greeting.
Thank you for reading my imperfect writing and enjoying it.
During the six months that I spent with you, readers, there were times when it was difficult, but there were many more times when it was enjoyable, so I think the past six months of serialization will be a very good memory for me.
Thank you for giving me such good memories.
