78: The Fearsome Opponent

In the “Destiny Blood” series, many problems arise at Astral Academy. Among them are incidents involving students and teachers. The masterminds behind these incidents might be students or teachers. That means we need to be cautious around those people. It’s efficient, after all.

However, it’s not necessarily the right choice. There are examples of people who were originally villains but became friends with the protagonist. Like Camila, Mary, and Felicia. So, giving up might be a problem.

Well, I don’t think an incident will occur immediately. The events in the original story required a lot of preparation. If we’re aware of the signs, we can detect them early on. Complacency is forbidden, though.

In the original story, the top students are divided into higher classes. However, this is the period where the academy introduces itself, so they’ll select and divide the students accordingly.

The reason they don’t divide the students during the entrance exam is that they want to measure abilities beyond magical power. Like magic operation and attribute combinations. Basically, if you have little magical power, you can’t activate large-scale magic. But if the difference in magical power is around two times, you can overturn it with technique. Although there are parts where the number of attributes is used as a cutoff, too. For example, if you have only one attribute, the standard might be stricter than others. It’s a plausible story.

As I’m moving around, I see the royal sisters now. When they see me, Mira waves her hand big, and Reina just gives a light wave. Their personalities are showing, and it’s interesting.
