King of Underworld - Chapter 35

The Story of Othos and Ephialtes – (3)
It wasn’t difficult to briefly take care of the giants who introduced themselves as Othos and Ephialtes.
I dodge the punches that come my way, and give myself a stinging viand to calm down…
“Ahhhh!”
“Otos!”
At this point, if you draw out some divine power and put pressure on them…
The giant’s body, called Otos, becomes rigid, and his eyes fill with fear.
He’s quite strong, but it’s obvious that he has no combat experience.
“First of all, you’re going to jail.”
Aim the viand at the eyes of the fallen giant.
But the real target area is the ankle.
With his right hand, he pretended to stab the viand in his eye,
At the moment when he was quietly pulling out the Styx sword from his waist with his left hand and was about to cut off Ottos’ ankle,
“Wait! Just wait a moment, Brother Hades!”
“Zeus?”
Zeus’ voice called me as he returned to the banquet hall.
He had ichor flowing from his head, as if Hera had noticed the wind and pulled out his hair.
The sight of Zeus haphazardly putting back his fallen hair was truly comical.
But the smile on his lips never seemed funny.
First, Zeus seemed to have some thoughts, so he put away his viand and stepped back.
These giants can be subdued again at any time…
“Ugh…”
As I step back a little, the two giants raise their bodies.
But their eyes, already filled with fear, and their slightly trembling fingers reveal their feelings.
Zeus glanced at the bleeding giants and said with a sharp smile.
“Hmm. Hmm. They are precious guests on Olympus, so we must treat them well.”
The sincerity that Zeus often shows to those who challenge his power.
“So, you came to get Hera and Artemis?”
I sense a cold murderous intent in that smile and those sunken eyes.
But the two brothers, Othos and Ephialtes, did not notice.
As you can see, they are young and strong kids.
That’s why… they couldn’t figure out why the other gods didn’t object to Zeus’s radical proposal.
“That’s right! Zeus, we swore on the River Styx that we would take Artemis and Hera as our wives!”
“Hurry up and hand them over to us!”
They both look stupid, but the one I just attacked, Otos, seems to be a little more perceptive.
Well, it’s the same thing, but how on earth can you say something like that after being stabbed in the gut by my spear just now?
Just now I was about to subdue the brothers Othos and Ephialtes and drag them to the prison of the underworld.
As the prophecy said, I couldn’t kill them, and I also felt a familiar sense of divine power.
Zeus could not have been unaware of that, but the reason he stopped me was not to show mercy to them.
Those who dare to challenge themselves and Olympus…
“Ah, of course, Hera and Artemis are not a waste for heroes like you!”
“Really? Ha… But Hades here…”
“It seems there was a misunderstanding, Brother Hades, hahaha!”
Just to kill them.

“I’d like to hand over Hera and Artemis right now, but…”
“I want to, but..?”
“They are not here.”
The giants become angry when they hear that the two goddesses they had chosen as their wives are not present.
Perhaps Zeus had it smuggled away somewhere or told it to hide for a while.
“What?! Zeus! Are you tricking us?”
The giant Ephialtes crumpled his face and shouted.
Nevertheless, Zeus soothes him with a soft voice.
“Artemis is not here because she is handling important business on the island of Naxos.”
“What important thing are you talking about?”
“It’s a job to explore the monsters called Gigas. They are powerful monsters with the lower half of their bodies like snakes and the upper half of their bodies like humans. I think even you would have a hard time dealing with them?”
Artemis is not actually seen in the banquet hall.
So, has it really been discovered that Gigas was found on the island of Naxos?
“But since they haven’t come yet, it looks like they were captured by those monsters and taken prisoner. Hmm… It would be nice if some brave warriors came forward…”
“Artemis has been captured?! Then, Zeus! If we kill those Gigas and rescue Artemis…”

“Oh, if you do that, I will allow you to have a wedding ceremony with me on Olympus!”
Is this what you were planning, Zeus?
Clearly, there are too many flaws in Zeus’ words.
The tone of voice that subtly encouraged them, the condition that they would be allowed to marry only if they caught the monsters, and the vague answer about Hera’s position.
But the two giant brothers didn’t notice anything strange at all.
It may be because they are young and inexperienced giants,
Because right next to Zeus, the goddess of persuasion, Peitho, is quietly exercising her power.
The vague and vague words of the king of gods have a strangely persuasive power that confuses the giants’ thoughts.
“Then let’s go quickly! If we delay any longer, Artemis might be attacked by Gigas!”
“Ah… I understand! Be sure to keep your promise, Zeus!”
“Where is the island called Naxos?”
So the two fools listened to Zeus’ words and descended from Olympus.
It would have been better if I had been subdued earlier and locked up in the prison of the underworld.
As if there was no need to hide it anymore,
Zeus, who had been looking at the giants coming down from Olympus with cold eyes, opened his mouth.
All eyes are on the King of the Gods as he relaxes his expression and raises his goblet filled with nectar.
“Some thugs have appeared for a moment, but I will deal with them myself. All gods, do not worry and continue enjoying the banquet!”
“Oh… I understand!”
“The ending for those who challenge Olympus is obvious.”
“The island of Naxos? That must be their graveyard.”
“Their last bit of luck was being subdued by Hades earlier. Hahaha!”
“There are so many loopholes in prophecies… tsk tsk.”
As Zeus finished speaking, the soft sound of Apollo’s lyre was heard again.
The nine Muses display their artistic talents, and Dionysus creates wine and shares it with the gods.
“Oh.. So this is that wine.”
“I will gratefully accept it, Dionysus.”
Now the Olympian gods began to pour their cups and drink ambrosia as if nothing had happened,
Ares, who came out after lightly breaking a bronze jar, grumbled that he had broken a precious jar.
I headed straight to Zeus.

“Zeus. Has Gigas been discovered on the island of Naxos?”
“Ah, you don’t know yet, brother. A while ago, Helios was driving his sun chariot and discovered their tracks.”
Gigas are monsters created by the Earth Mother Gaia.
When your body touches the ground, you become stronger and gain tremendous regenerative powers.
Why are these guys, who are supposed to stay on land, found on an island in the middle of the ocean?
This is clearly Gaia’s trap.
The frivolous Olympian gods will be waiting for you to descend to the island and search for the Gigas.
“They infiltrated the island? They fooled Poseidon’s followers in the sea?”
“We already knew that the Gigas were preparing a trap to reduce our power.”
His head tilts from side to side in response to my question.
The Gigas infiltrated the island and started doing tricks… They deliberately fooled us.
I was thinking of checking what kind of traps Gaia and Gigas were preparing, as they could sink or destroy the entire island at any time.
Although Gigas are clearly gods, they are not immortal and have stronger monster attributes.
We’ll have to see for ourselves if we can kill them…
“It doesn’t matter if the giants don’t die there, because I have my son Dionysus.”
“Driving them mad and making them kill each other?”
“Huh. I can’t spare those who dare challenge me.”
Yeah… I felt like I was trying to stop him from subduing me and dragging me to the afterlife.
There must have been a way to take advantage of the strong but stupid giants.
Zeus vaguely noticed when I tried to subdue them, but he didn’t bother to step forward and oppose me.
To attempt to take by force the already married queen of the gods and the goddess who swore virginity on the River Styx was clearly a direct challenge to Olympus.
Since it was a struggle for power, not justice, when the giants died and came to the afterlife, they would not be treated very well.
“But they seemed like children of some god.”
“What matters is that they dared to challenge Zeus. They will die a miserable death there.”
If Dionysus, the god of madness, fails to shake their minds, Zeus must have another way.
Sending clouds that mutate into beasts to make them throw spears at each other, or being charmed by the goddess of beauty, Aphrodite.
“It’s a good way to check the traps prepared by Gigas and also get rid of the troublemaker.”
“Of course that’s true, but…”
“They’re slowly walking towards Naxos. Dionysus! You also need to prepare just in case.”
In times like these, Zeus, like the king of gods, makes wise decisions…
Just like the Sisyphus case last time, why on earth do I only think of the lower half of my body when it comes to women?
