My Ex-Fiancée Is the Female Lead in the Romance Novel - Chapter 19
19 – Villain?(4)
Seria was in a familiar place.
Since it was a place she had been to many times, she could easily tell that this was the banquet hall where the imperial ball was held.
As she gazed blankly at the dazzling ballroom, she heard a familiar voice ringing in her ears.
“Lia, what are you doing? Come here.”
“Uh…Uh.”
Seria was embarrassed by the unexpected voice and stuttered her words.
But at the same time, Seria realized that this place was her dream.
“Cesar.”
“Huh? What’s the matter.”
When I call Cesar’s name, he answers with a smile. That fact alone allowed Seria to know that the current situation was unrealistic.
She was led by Cesar’s hand, and the place where Seria arrived was a proud place in the ballroom.
“You decided to go to a place where there are no people. I have already danced as I should. So I brought it to the place I saw earlier.”
“Thank you.”
Seria subconsciously answered Cesar’s words.
But her attention was only on César’s face. The thought that it had been a long time since she had seen his face up close like this dominated Seria’s mind.
She hadn’t been this close to Cesar in the past two or three years, so Ceria felt something strange about Cesar’s face as she saw her right in front of her.

No matter how childhood friends the two are, the two men and women are very close. Naturally, a strange atmosphere was created.
Seria looked up to see Cesar blushing. Seria knew for some reason that Cesar would try to kiss her next time.
Seria did not block César’s face, which she naturally brought closer to her own. She obviously would have turned her head away if she had been herself, but she didn’t want to do that now.
But Seria could not feel the touch of her lips.
“Haa…Haa…”
Seria looked at the teddy bear instead of Cesar’s face. When she thought about it, Seria, who recalled that it was also a gift from Cesar, chewed something bitter inside her.
If she had seen herself and César in her childhood until yesterday, Seria saw in her dream five years ago, her first imperial ball. Seria could see her fresh-looking César and her own figure, which was moving between shyness and romance unlike her now.
Seria, who had only seen Seria and Cesar in her recent dreams, felt a sense of longing for them. She was Cesar who embraced and accepted everything she said and did.
But Seria had to face reality.
The detestable Rosemary has been visiting the residence of the Marquis of Lombardi like an e-mail lately. Perhaps, after a while, Rosemary might go to the marquis’s residence more times than Seria went to the marquis’s.
In Seria’s mind, the scene of Rosemary and Cesar strolling around looking at flowers in a garden full of flowers played.
César, who is not very interested in the names of her flowers, has never given a proper answer when she asks for the names of her flowers. The useless thought that it would be the same for Rosemary passed through Seria’s mind.
Seria got up from the bed to stop the stream of thoughts that lingered on her tail.
She is at odds with her father, the duke, and her brother is out of the country. Sarah felt lonely. She thought that she should have a tea time with the young ladies she was close to, but Seria soon gave up.
Because she dreams of César and she wants to meet César, she thought that she should visit her marquis again today.
Of course, she might be aware that the odds of Cesar not meeting her are pretty high. But she didn’t have such negative thoughts in her mind.

“Young lady, are you back again?”
“Yes, I am here again.”
I looked at Lady Rosemary with a frown on her cheeky answer. I felt a surge of energy at the sight of him now crossing his legs and thinking of the Marquis House as his own home.
I wondered what kind of tea the maid served today, so I moved my gaze to her cup.
“Have you finished drinking already?”
“It’s been over an hour since I got here? Of course, it’s time to drink it all.”
“Because I am busy with work.”
“What’s the point of being busy with Youngsik who doesn’t have any position?”
I ignored her and sat down. As I sat across from her, I naturally faced her face.
In my heart, I admired Lady Rosemary’s appearance.
Even for a woman, her small body, a bit of a round atmosphere, and a relaxed expression always add to her charm. In the novel, she appeared as a villain, so far I have not known how she appeared.
“Where were you yesterday? He didn’t come so I waited and went back. I was worried that you wouldn’t come today.”
“Is that so? You don’t have to wait if I don’t come. It would be more efficient to go home and do embroidery or read a book.”
“So yesterday, I picked out a book from the library at the Marquis’ residence and read it.”
In fact, there are not many interesting books in the library of the Marquis. At best, there are a few romance novels for when my mother comes to the capital, and the rest is boring classics and specialized books.
So I wondered what kind of books she read. In the original work, she gave a cold impression as if she would not read romance novels, but did Lady Rosemary really read romance novels?
“What book was it? There aren’t many books in the library for the young lady to look at.”
“It was a romance novel. It was pretty good.”
Lady Rosemary then gave me the title and told me to read it.
“The title is… 11 Ways to punish cheating women…?”
“Yes. Please take a look.”
Somehow, the title seemed to snipe me, and I felt something flimsy. I was just curious about why Lady Rosemary was doing this to me.
“Come to think of it, did you think about why I am here?”
Come to think of it, she remembered that she had asked such a question the last time she came. But I didn’t really think about it, so no clear answer came out of my mouth.
“I don’t know.”
Then she let out a big sigh.
“Aren’t you curious?”
To be honest, I’m not that curious. I thought it was obvious that the purpose was to provoke Seria, so I didn’t say my thoughts out of my mouth.
After a moment of silence, Lady Rosemary tried to open her mouth, but was interrupted by a knock on her door.
“You can come in.”
As I spoke loudly, the butler entered. Most of the time the butler came to me when there were guests, so I thought about who would come to me.
“Cesar. Lady Argenta wants to meet… What should I do?”
And the butler looked sideways at Lady Rosemary. He looked worried about what would happen if Seria and Lady Rosemary met.
“Oh. Is Lady Argenta here?”
Lady Rosemary’s expression was somewhat predictable. No, rather, it seemed that he was willing to visit Seria.
Lady Rosemary looked at me with her purple eyes shining.
“Youngsik, what are you going to do?”
I pondered for a moment at her question. Obviously, when the two meet, there will be a considerable level of nerve warfare, even if they cannot openly fight because it is in front of me. I didn’t want that to happen in our mansion.
To see something like that, it’s enough to watch it at a tea party where you’re forced to.
So I came up with a plan to get both of them out of the mansion.
I don’t really want to meet Seria. I wonder if she’s going to apologize for what she’s done to me or if she’s still coming off as an idiot.
But that curiosity wasn’t big enough to bring Seria into our mansion and give her a headache.
“Young lady.”
“Yes?”
“You better go back to the mansion.”
“Yes? Why? Are you going to let me go and meet Lady Argenta?”
I was genuinely surprised to see Lady Rosemary’s wounded expression. Seeing her appearance, which did not seem like acting, I hurriedly continued.
“No. It’s not like that. It’s just that I know that the two young ladies have a rough relationship… I didn’t want to make them meet. So, it was my intention to return both the young lady and the young lady Argenta to the mansion.”
“Is that so?”
Lady Rosemary seemed to feel a little better.
“Then I will go back today! See you next time.”
Lady Rosemary left the mansion, maintaining her usual expression and atmosphere, as if she liked my long explanation.
But there was something I hadn’t thought of. It was the fact that even if it wasn’t inside our mansion, Seria and Lady Rosemary would have no choice but to run into each other in front of our house, and the sight would be exposed to the paparazzi and the press.
