My Ex-Fiancée Is the Female Lead in the Romance Novel - Chapter 20
20 – Being a fiancée with the purple haired lady
Even though it was dawn, the 4th princess Elysia’s room was still brightly lit. She is said to be the highest class among the rooms given by the Arit people, but she felt a little uncomfortable in this room.
It was because the palace was narrower than the imperial palace she used to live in, and the quality of the bed was not that good. Considering that it was originally a room for an ordinary local lord, it was somewhat understandable that it was inferior to the imperial palace.
4 The princess threw away her useless thoughts and grabbed her pen to finish writing her letter.
“Count… How are you…”
The letter that begins with a formal greeting was written to Count Rod Miller, one of the generals deployed on the Eastern Front.
He was a general from the faction of the Duke of Argenta with whom Elysia had many conversations while moving behind the scenes and forming forces. Elysia thought that he was most likely to do her favor.
Countess Lord Miller will not refuse her request, because Elysia will also write down her reasons for cracking down on her slave traders in her letter.
Elysia remembered the conversation she had with the child earlier.
The children who lost their parents are said to have been brought here by the chieftain of the Arit people from where they originally lived.
It is said that both of the child’s parents were taken away before coming here, that is, when they were in the stronghold of the Arit people.
Slaves are legal in the Empire. However, all of those slaves were enslaved because they committed a great sin or were caught as slaves because they could not pay their debts on time. Elysia knew that slaves captured in this way were being traded in the underworld, but she was shocked to actually confirm their existence.
It is impossible to devise a fundamental solution to defeating all her slave traders with her Elisia’s authority. The underworld is such a huge place that it’s hard to get rid of it all, even if you focus on all the nerves of the empire.
Elysia stuck out her tongue at their influence beyond the borders.
So she had no choice but to implement a temporary solution.
Move at least some of the soldiers deployed on the eastern front to crack down on all the slave traders taking place near the Arit tribe’s territory.
“I wrote everything..!”
Elysia melted wax to seal the letter she had written. She wanted to do it magically, but she had no choice but to use her magic except for a little bit of her magic learned from her mother, so she had no choice.
“If the Count cracks down properly… The Arit people won’t want any more battles.”
Elysia muttered to herself.
Once the fighting stops and buys time, the Empire’s options widen.
The reason why the Empire is struggling against the Arit people is that the northern monster wave that started in winter has not ended. After the monster wave in the north is over, you will have time to deal with the Arit tribe.
In Elysia’s opinion, it is impossible to defeat all of her slave dealers. However, although she is temporary, if she cracks down on it, she will buy herself for the time being. Originally, when the time came for the empire to move to wipe them out, Elysia could easily predict that the slave traders would buy themselves because they were like ghosts.
That time was enough until the northern monster wave was over.
After that, if you wipe out the slavers, everything will be solved. It was a thought that could be made because it is a dark world where you can only shrink for about ten years if you carry out a sweeping sweep at least once.
She went to bed after calling the shadow members who had followed her from her palace and ordering them to deliver her letter.

Seria glared at the purple-haired woman in front of her. She frowned at her, thinking it was disrespectful to have her hateful smile still on her face.
“See you again, Lady Argenta. Are you looking for Cesar?”
“You don’t need to know.”
Seria answered Lady Rosemary’s words dumbfounded.
“Lady Argenta, it seems difficult today because Cesar is busy with work.”
She felt sorry for Cesar at the words of the owner of her house who came out with Lady Rosemary. It was because of César’s continued coldness towards her, who never met her and only met Lady Rosemary.
If you’ve come this far, isn’t it worth showing her face at least once? Seria thought to herself and soon became angry with Lady Rosemary for no reason.
It was because she thought that Lady Rosemary was seeing Cesar’s face every day, which she hadn’t seen in days.
“Cesar, you look very busy. I also came out earlier than usual so as not to interfere with his work. So, why don’t Lady Argenta go back to the mansion?”
Despite Lady Rosemary’s brazen lies, the butler’s expression did not change. Of course, there was no way that Seria or Lady Rosemary could know that in fact they had been kicked out.
“Camilla, did you go and interrupt Cesar when you knew he was busy?”
“Hmm… won’t it be a hindrance? It was a short break with me in between my busy work.”
Seria felt that she would feel better if she somehow had to find fault with Lady Rosemary.
But she couldn’t find anything more to point out in Lady Rosemary’s behavior. If there was a fiancé, there would be something to complain about, but this time, the Duke of Rosemary was taking care of her children so that they could have free love without getting them engaged.
That’s why no one can say anything about Lady Rosemary clinging to Cesar with a private mind. Of course, she knew that even Seria was nothing more than a hermit with no justification to say anything about it.
“If you have nothing to say, I will go back to the mansion now. Why don’t you bother Cesar-nim and find another man for Lady Argenta?”
At Lady Rosemary’s words, which could be seen by anyone looking at her malice towards Seria, Seria couldn’t hold back her momentary anger and kicked her to the ground. She then threw her fist as hard as she could at Lady Rosemary.
But her fist was blocked by the Rosemary family knight. Her knight chose to use her body to receive her Seria’s fist because she could injure her if she grabbed Seria’s arm.
“Lady Argenta, why are you so excited? You’d better calm down a bit.”
Seria pretended not to hear what her Lady Rosemary was saying and she turned around.
Seeing the family knight looking at her with a bewildered expression, Seria regretted what she had just done. It was an accidental action brought about by her feelings of hatred for Lady Rosemary and by the anger aroused by her taunting remarks.
“Camilla, will you come tomorrow too?”
“Yes? Of course.”
Seria promised her tomorrow again. With the determination to meet César tomorrow, he moved heavy steps toward her mansion.

“Cesar, I’m going to go somewhere for a while. Keep sitting here!”
Seeing Cesar nod her head, Seria headed to her bathroom in relief.
Seeing Seria like that, César waved her hand and immediately took the cookie lying next to her and ate it. It was Cesar’s first tea party. Normally, only girls attend the tea party, but at a young age, both men and women attend to get to know each other, so César didn’t really want it, but she was dragged into the tea party.
Of course, there is no way that Cesar, who has just arrived in the capital, knows anyone other than Seria.
Cesar had no particular intention of making friends other than Seria, so he sat quietly in his seat.
However, the other children did not leave him alone.
A cute looking Cesar with dark hair that is not very common in the Empire. The children who did not dare to approach them because Argentara wore the value of her name and the usually imposing Seria was attached to her, but now the words have changed.
So, by the time Seria returned to her seat, several young ladies were surrounding Cesar.
Seria has grown up as the daughter of a ducal family since she was young. So it was unimaginable that she would lose her handsome new friend named Cesar.
Most of the young ladies who surrounded her Cesar were young ladies she did not know, but one of her, her familiar head, stood out.
Ceria reached out to Cesar, hurting between her children. She then pulled the purple-haired girl away from Cesar, who was talking about this and that while sticking close to Cesar.
Seria was finally able to wake up when she saw the purple-haired girl startled.
