The Strongest in the World Doesn’t Want To Do Anything - Chapter 55
55 – Episode 5

“…You’ve returned relatively recently.”
In Rosalia’s office, a letter requesting assistance from the Taylor family was in her hand.
Having become accustomed to such events, Rosalia called Handro to give orders.
“Have you made a decision?”
“I will not respond to the Taylor family’s request. And prepare the troops immediately.”
“Do you plan to attack Gerba?”
Handro asked with a worried expression.
‘This nobleman was like this even in the previous life.’
“No. We’re preparing for a bigger problem. It’s a problem of a form we’ve never encountered before.”
“…It seems you’ve seen something again. Understood.”
Handro took Rosalia’s occasionally incomprehensible words somewhat special. Whenever a major event was imminent, she made judgments that were hard to understand, and Handro did not resist but followed her words.
Each time, the situations astonishingly aligned with her judgment, and as they repeated, a sense of trust had now developed.
In Rosalia’s mind, Gerba was no longer of any concern. Unknown beings who had pushed her into her fourth death.
Whatever they were, since they posed a significant threat even to the existence of Terosa, thorough preparation was essential.
The forces were concentrated on the western border adjoining the Taylor Kingdom and Gerba to strengthen defense, and the entire city’s guard units were reorganized to enhance the internal defense system.
In addition, using various knowledge, Rosalia diligently prepared for ‘those’ things.
Even amid these preparations, new requests arrived without a day’s break from the Taylor family.
While Terosa ignored their demands, time continued to flow relentlessly.
Initially, the requests were for military or supplies, but now, the situation of the Taylor family had deteriorated to the point where they were pleading for assistance for only a few survivors.

Jans Taylor had a premonition that the soldiers blocking the entrance of the mansion would not last long.
“…So futile.”
Instead of rescuing his sister and father, the situation had become one where he had to worry about the survival of the family.
Untrustworthy but inevitable, Gerba firmly rejected the request, and the Empire and Terosa completely closed their borders to requests for refugee acceptance.
They had somehow endured on their own, but now they had reached their limit.
Facing death, Jans looked at a painting hanging on one side of the mansion wall, summarizing the history of the Taylor family from ancient wars to the present.
“What’s the use of that? Trapped in that glory, a family with no progress…”
Jans thought.
If he faced death here, everything would be over.
But if he survived, even humbly, there might be new opportunities.
Since honor had always felt like a shackle around Jans’ ankles, he quickly made a decision about this short contemplation.
“I was happy with my comrades! Now, value your life even at this moment and escape from this land! There is no more Taylor! Everyone, retreat!”
Issuing the final command to the soldiers, Jans swiftly escaped through the back door of the mansion, without looking back, riding on any available horse in the backyard.
Even though the border had been sealed, Jans intended to find a way into an adjacent country. It was impossible to let in thousands of people following him, but getting himself across was not a difficult task.
Having made that decision, he needed to choose where to go.
The Empire was the most powerful, with a well-established foundation. However, even that empire had become internally unstable due to recent political disputes and economic downturn.
Gerba was out of the question, leaving Terosa as the only remaining option.
Although it was a newly formed country and lagged behind the Empire in many aspects, Hektor, the former king, had laid a solid foundation, and Queen Rosalia, who inherited the country management after his death, was also turning Terosa into a strong nation.
“It’s unpleasant, but there’s no choice.”
With determination, Jans ran towards the west where Terosa was located.

“The news is that the Taylor Kingdom has finally fallen. And Gerba is also under attack from the same enemies.”
“Finally, it has come to that.”
Rosalia confirmed the realization of the future she had already experienced through Handro’s report.
Having been able to avoid this repeating cycle of death, Rosalia sighed deeply and wondered what would happen next.
Unknown beings with overwhelming destructive power and resilient vitality.
Although they were minor countries, they quickly destroyed the Taylor Kingdom, which had its own powerful weapons.
If they were to swallow Gerba as well, their next target could be Terosa.
What should she do if that were to happen?
Rosalia had already made preparations within her capabilities. However, it was only temporary preparation, and there was no way to cleanly eliminate the imminent threat.
Her head ached.
She knew that being a queen would be difficult, but it had gone beyond that.
Every time a new obstacle arose.
If it weren’t for the unexplained phenomenon of regressing that happened to her, she would have faced death four times already.
“Regression…”
Rosalia once again contemplated about this phenomenon.
She had researched her own regression in various ways before.
She had thoroughly searched through forbidden magic books and constantly explored religious knowledge that could be clues by visiting the sect.
But despite her efforts, she couldn’t find any significant leads.
She had simply based her motivation and drive to further prosper Terosa on the abstract conclusion that supernatural beings didn’t want her death.
“Perhaps it is my destiny to prevent this catastrophe?”
Now, even the concept of destiny was added to it.
Several more days passed.
In the end, Gerba disappeared from the map. Although she was disappointed that she couldn’t personally eliminate the traitors, she didn’t have the luxury to dwell on that now.
Reports frequently came up that those beings had been observed near the western border.
Every time that happened, Rosalia found herself thinking about her own destiny again.
Rosalia and Handro had frequent discussions to predict and prepare for what was to come.
From Noble mtl dot com
“We predict that the origin is Taylor’s territory, but considering recent reports that those monsters suddenly emerged from Gerba’s land, it is reasonable to assume that the entire region is the origin.”
Handro’s thoughts were a reasonable inference. After all, the recent monsters that suddenly emerged in Gerba’s territory were the cause of her recent death.
“I feel like we have been observing them more frequently from our side recently.”
“Yes, we are keeping a close eye on the situation.”
It seemed necessary to uncover the identity of these monsters, who knows where they came from. If they could even be eradicated, it would be even better.
“There is a risk, but we should try various methods. After all, I have the ability of regression even if I lose my life.”
Experiencing death may not be enjoyable, but the phenomenon of regression happening to Rosalia herself was the strongest weapon she could utilize at this moment.
“We need to prepare for the expedition.”
“Yes, understood. We’ll select only the elite soldiers…”
“No. The Taylor family, who fought better than those elites, has been wiped out. We need to think of this as a full-scale war, Handro.”
“Are you saying…”
“Yes. We are going to war again. It seems Handro has bad luck too. Always picking fights with a ruler like me.”
Handro did not particularly deny Rosalia’s words.
“Hahaha. I understand. Shall we talk about matters related to the war then?”
After finishing the lengthy war conference, Rosalia returned to her bed and fell asleep.

“Rosalia.”
“…”
“Rosalia.”
“…”
“Fulfill your role, Rosalia. Until everything is complete.”
“…”
“You have six chances remaining. Give your best in your role.”
Even though a presence emitted a powerful light in front of her and spoke unknown words, Rosalia couldn’t even utter a question, let alone a groan.
“M-my body won’t move…”
“You have six chances. Remember that.”
“Ugh!”
Rosalia woke up covered in sweat.
