The Villainous Young Master’s Life in Another World - Chapter 36

Outside the secret realm, Principal Dan led a group of teachers in discussing the situation inside.
Name: Hermes Dan
Level: 80
Occupation: Magician
Skills: …
“Principal, according to the students who came out, they found two giant monsters in the secret realm. One’s identity is unknown, and the other one seems to be Fis, the demon from legends.”
The moment these words were spoken, it caused a panic among the teachers who started chattering anxiously.
“How could it be Demon Fis? That’s an eighth-level creature. How could such a terrifying existence be in this secret realm?”
“We’ve lost so many students this time. Sigh… I don’t know how we’re going to explain this to those nobles.”
“I told you before not to use this untraceable secret realm but you didn’t listen. Now look what happened.”
“Ridiculous! Why didn’t you discover the presence of demons when you inspected the secret realm?”
“Now is not the time for blame. We should seal off this portal as soon as possible.”
“Yes, yes! Seal off that portal!”
There were arguments among them; some were sarcastic remarks; others tried shifting blame while some suggested solutions; overall there was incessant discussion and quarreling.
“Enough!”
Principal Hermes Dan slammed his magic wand onto ground forcefully which immediately silenced everyone.
“You are all educators here! How can you lose your composure over a mere title? Reflect on yourselves!”
The teachers were scolded into silence and could only respond with an “understood”.
At this moment, the portal lit up, and the proctor for this time, Horus Jin, and the elf Mili walked out from it.
“Jin, Mili, how did it go?”
Jin carefully described to the principal everything he had seen inside.
“Principal, it is indeed the demon Fis. He exudes an aura of level eight which is significantly stronger than yours. Furthermore, there’s a creature in armor inside that also emits a dark aura of level eight. The two monsters are currently battling each other inside. We didn’t dare get too close to them; we only took one look from afar before immediately returning.”
Everyone around gasped in surprise. Another level eight creature was beyond their imagination. A single level eight demon was already headache-inducing enough; now there was another level-eight dark creature added into the mix. If they stopped fighting later on and we didn’t even have a chance to make a move…that would truly be disastrous.
“Principal! We must seal off the portal quickly! We absolutely cannot let them come out!”
“Yes indeed Principal! If we don’t seal it now we might not have another chance!”
“We can’t miss this opportunity Principal! Please seal off the portal!”
“Please seal off the portal!”
“Please seal off the portal!”
“… “
Principal Dan exhaled deeply; he knew what was important and urgent at hand – initially he wanted to go in and fight with that demon himself but while he could handle one Level 8 monster alone but two were too much for him especially when both monsters were stronger than him.
The principal asked: “How are our students doing?”
Mili replied: “Most of them have made it out safely.”
The principal sighed deeply then ordered: “Everyone prepare to start sealing.”
Upon hearing these words teachers felt relieved as if they had been injected with adrenaline – they began frantically setting up for sealing operation.
On the stage below, Tina tightly covered Mia’s mouth, tears streaming down her face as she spoke.
“Mia, don’t speak. All we can do now is trust Brother,”
“But…”
Tina rebuked,
“Mia, snap out of it! If you really tell them about Master Brother’s identity, that would truly break his heart. What about the people of Crete? Grandpa Charlie, Uncle John, and even Master Brother’s father – what will they do?”
Upon hearing this, Mia fell silent. Her attempts to struggle free from Tina gradually ceased.
Seeing that she seemed to understand, Tina decisively let her go and spoke with a choked voice.
“All we can do now is strive to train harder in the future… just in case…”
Tina dared not finish her sentence. Her fist clenched tightly. Seeing this scene unfold before her eyes, Mia reached out and held her hand. Both girls stared intently towards the direction of the portal with only one thought in their minds.
“You must be safe.”
…
Inside the secret realm.
Fis once again conjured his Reaper Scythe and roared,
“Fall into the darkness of death!”
Gu Ming dodged an incoming blood blade by sidestepping it and transformed dark energy into a long sword with his hand for a counterattack.
Clang! The two collided several times before shattering into pieces again.
After a long period of fighting, both were panting heavily with their eyes locked onto each other’s faces. Gu Ming had never felt such an intense desire for victory before.
He spat out some blood and said,
“Don’t hold back now! Weren’t you going to plunge me into darkness? Come on then; let me experience your superior skills once more.”
Fis was not in good shape either; both had power that was time-limited but clearly Fis’s time was running short.
This put him at a fundamental disadvantage. Only now did Fis have to admit that Gu Ming was not an ordinary opponent. His fearless style of fighting deeply impressed upon Fis the resolve of a dauntless warrior.
He licked his wound on his right arm and solemnly declared, “As you wish, if this moment is eternal, then I will let you suffer eternally. Sin of Wrath – Reaper’s Claim.”
Gu Ming also decided to unleash his final move to determine the outcome.
“Silent Black Hole.”
From noble mtl dot com
A reaper and a black hole, two forces determined the ultimate victor.
After the explosion of energies, Gu Ming looked at Fis who had collapsed next to a darkened tree corner with barely any breath left in him. He chose not to utter any words of humiliation but simply walked away indifferently. There was no need to mock someone on their deathbed.
Fis had no chance of survival in front of Silent Black Hole; his soul began gradually dissipating.
Covered in blood, Fis sat by the tree corner laughing heartily,
“Hahaha… dead… dead… as one from last century’s remnants, this is nothing more than a joke! The farce is ending; it’s time for the actor to exit.”
Fis tried lifting himself up into another position but as soon as he exerted force, his fingers and arms turned into mush so he could only lean helplessly against the tree corner again,
“What a miserable end… it’s time for me to exit.”
Fis lifted his head towards Gu Ming’s departing figure and sighed regretfully,
“Ah… what a pity… I really wanted to defeat that guy…”
After uttering these last words he closed his eyes forevermore and turned into ashes amidst raging flames…
…
Ding! Experience points increased by ten million; congratulations host for reaching level six!
Gu Ming wasn’t in mood for system notifications. Looking at the sky-covering seal formation, Gu Ming felt his scalp tingle. Without hesitation, he tore a hole in an incomplete part of the formation using Black Hole and crushed a jade token to teleport out.
Upon emerging, those around were surprised at his ragged appearance; they were even more shocked as to why he emerged so late.
Ignoring the stares of those around them, Tina and Mia rushed forward emotionally and held him tightly in their arms.
The teachers wanted to inquire about his condition, but knew now was not the time.
Especially since the eighth-tier grand formation had just been attacked, causing a moment of panic among them, they poured even more of their energy into the formation.
What they didn’t know was that the danger inside had already been neutralized, and what was sealed now was nothing but an empty shell.
Tina stepped forward with concern and asked,
“Big brother, are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?”
“Look, look, big brother, you’re bleeding here.”
“It’s nothing, just some superficial wounds. They’ll heal soon,”
Gu Mingfeng said with a nonchalant air.
Seeing Gu Mingfeng’s expression, they were somewhat reassured, but was it really so? How could such immense power be wielded without any price to pay?
If one looked closely at Gu Mingfeng’s concealed right hand, they would find it extremely cold, like millennia-old ice, and its appearance was even somewhat ethereal, as if it could vanish at any moment.
Fortunately, this condition did not last long before it recovered. As for any lingering effects, only Gu Mingfeng himself would know.
