The Villainous Young Master’s Life in Another World - Chapter 39

As night fell, Gu Ming put on black assassin attire and prepared to set off.
Beside him Tina asked reluctantly,
“Master brother…maybe we should let it go?”
But Gu Ming’s determination did not waver,
“It can’t just end like this; I will help you get your revenge.”
“But…”
Even though Tina felt warmth in her heart, she couldn’t help but worry. Gu Ming could only patiently reassure her.
“Don’t worry about me. I’m at the sixth level now, and a small viscount doesn’t even catch my eye. The lord of that place is just a fifth level at most, it’s no big deal.”
“Why don’t Mia and I go with you?”
“No need, you two just wait for me at home.”
Gu Ming shook his head to refuse. It would be inconvenient to invade a viscount’s territory with them. Although Gu Ming was not afraid, if anything unexpected happened and he failed to protect them, he would regret it deeply.
“Alright then, be careful brother master…and thank you brother master.”
Tina sincerely thanked him. After all, she wasn’t some saintly figure; when people were ready to take your life in secret places why should you be polite? Now that their own strength was sufficient there was nothing good about hesitating for revenge – one word: do it.
Gu Ming leapt into the air slowly merging into the night sky heading towards Kevin’s family territory – Savage Bear Territory.
Inside the dungeon of Savage Bear Territory sat a woman dressed in monk robes with an empty look in her eyes shackled by chains on her limbs and neck; fresh blood still seeping from wounds on her head.
“Father this woman is so beautiful can I have her?”
Kevin’s father looked at him with a sinister smile,
“She is pure-blooded succubus if you are not afraid of being sucked dry by her then go ahead.”
Hearing about being sucked dry immediately extinguished Kevin’s lustful flame but he still asked curiously,
“So father how did we capture her?”
Kevin’s father Segg merely gave an indifferent laugh as if mocking the succubus’ fate.
He glanced over at Gude who immediately explained to Kevin,
“Young master, this is related to the plague that struck our territory not long ago. It’s said she came here as a nun from a monastery to treat the villagers. This plague was related to some experiments we were conducting and it accidentally triggered her latent succubus bloodline. She grew horns on her head and wings on her back, when the ignorant villagers discovered she had turned into a demon they not only burned all the other people in the monastery but also delivered her to us tonight.”
Kevin clapped his hands in delight after hearing this story,
“Hahaha, brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! Father since you’ve kept her what can we do
“The materials provided by the headquarters have always been scarce. Now, we have a pure-blooded succubus right here. If we could obtain some unexpected experimental data from her, wouldn’t that be wonderful? Even if we don’t gain anything significant, turning her into a biological weapon would still be quite an achievement. You should know that pure-blooded specimens are not common.”
Pure-blood: Refers to the bloodline passed down from the ancestral demons of the demon clan. They usually have long horns on their heads and wings on their backs. Most importantly, their demonic blood contains magical energy and power with a chance of reversion.
Seg was excited at the thought of his research achieving significant results and immediately ordered his subordinates,
“Take a few more pounds of her blood for samples.”
“Yes, master,” they replied.
Kevin watched as she didn’t resist at all; he found it boring. She was like a dead fish being drained of blood; Kevin sneered.
He preferred women who put up some resistance – it made things more interesting.
“Tsk tsk tsk, how boring! Father, I’m going back to sleep,” he said dismissively.
Seg did not stop him but ordered two guards to escort him back and left it at that.
In the iron cell, after having her blood drawn out, Violet murmured,
“Why… I haven’t done anything wrong… why treat me this way? Dead… everyone’s dead… Little Li is dead… The headmistress is also dead… Everyone’s dead… They’re all demons… All of them are demons…”
Looking around at the damp darkness of her dungeon cell where rats occasionally scurried past; she had an empty look in her eyes. The aftermath from having so much blood drawn left her feeling faint and she passed out momentarily.
“What is dream? What is reality? I can’t tell anymore… what do you want me to do in this cruel reality? God, if you hear me, please respond to your pitiful believer.”
Long periods of despair had brought her to the brink of collapse. Her bloodline seemed to respond to her cries and was slowly guiding her awakening. The horns that she had destroyed were regrowing and the blurry tattoos on her body became clear again. Something different was happening in her dreamscape.
…
Inside the manor estate, Gu Ming killed two patrolling guards and donned one of their armors before casually infiltrating further.
Unable to find Kevin or Gude’s whereabouts, he could only wander around looking for his target.
“
“Turn around and let me see you.”
With no other choice, Gu Ming turned his head, looking at them with a servile expression. He immediately addressed the knight who was obviously dressed differently from the others.
“Good day, Captain.”
The captain of the knights nodded arrogantly but did not let down his guard.
“I’ve never seen you before. Which unit are you from?”
Gu Ming kept his composure and replied,
“I’m a student personally recruited by young master Kevin to serve him.”
Upon hearing that he was personally recruited by Kevin, the captain’s attitude softened significantly.
“Don’t take it personally, brother. We’re just doing our job here. We still need to check your identity. Do you have any proof?”
“Yes, I have a jade pendant given to me by the young master himself. Let me show it to you.”
Gu Ming took off his armor and slowly reached into his chest with his right hand while signaling with his left hand,
“Come on over here.”
Without suspicion, the captain signaled for reassurance to those behind him and walked over.
As he watched Gu Ming’s right hand slowly emerge from his chest plate, a flash of cold light revealed a dagger in front of him. The captain was so frightened that he unconsciously blurted out,
“Holy shit!”
If he knew how to use modern slang language for mockery or sarcasm then surely he would say something like “I am truly defeated by your cunning”.
Seeing their captain fall down dead startled the remaining three men into action but they were no match for Gu Ming’s swift moves; flashes of blade light later all three had been dispatched without even having time to call for help.
After hiding their bodies away Gu Ming effectively moved up several ranks in authority; whenever encountering another knight he would ask them for directions.
One such knight had dared question him back which earned two slaps across face as reminder about respect due.
The knight rubbed his slapped cheek, looking at Gu Ming with a wronged expression. But under Gu Ming’s oppressive might, he still told him the location. Gu Ming didn’t hesitate; once he got the information, he sent him off to meet his maker.
After finding the spot, he took off his heavy armor and put on a mask of Tang Monk, blending into the night once again.
