The Villainous Young Master’s Life in Another World - Chapter 40
40
“Who are you?”
Kevin, who had just laid down, sat up in terror. He had no choice but to get up; the curved blade was only three centimeters away from his neck. One cut and he would be gone.
“Spare me, I have money. I can give you a lot of money. Please don’t kill me.”
Upon hearing that he still had money, Gu Ming prepared to bleed him dry before killing him.
“Cough cough… My name is Tang Sanzang. I am a member of the Dark Guild. Hand over all your valuable possessions.”
“The Dark Guild? Misunderstanding! A huge misunderstanding! Brother, we’re on the same side!”
This time it was Gu Ming’s turn to be confused. Damn it! He made up a fake identity on the spot and actually ran into someone real from it – fuck!
But speaking of which this kid is actually from the Dark Guild even though he’s clearly only second-tier… No wait – there must be other members of the Dark Guild in this house; this kid probably got in through connections… The most likely one being his rabbit-like father – damn it! Did I accidentally stumble upon some secret chess piece left by the Dark Guild? That’s absurd!
“We’re on same side brother; can you put down your knife first? It’s dangerous.”
Once Gu Ming figured things out he made a decision: regardless if you’re part of any guild or not – robbery or murder – it’s all done by Tang Sanzang; what does that have to do with me?
However, information should still be gathered first: let’s scare him first and see if there’s any useful information.
“Do you know what mistake you’ve made?”
The blade sliced open a wound on Kevin’s neck. Seeing the curved blade piercing into the panel, he was so scared that he almost wet his pants, frantically recalling if there was anything wrong at home.
“Could it be…”
Kevin thought of the succubus woman today and felt that the problem must lie there. He couldn’t help but feel some resentment towards his father.
“My lord, a pure-blooded succubus is in the dungeon. I can take you to her.”
Gu Ming hadn’t expected to actually uncover some information. The phrase “pureblood succubus” sounded strangely familiar. Pureblood succubus, pureblood succubus, pureblood…succubus, the sin of lust… Damn it! This was a big fish.
“What’s the name of this succubus?”
“I’m sorry sir, we only caught her today and I can’t quite remember her name. It was something like Wei…”
“Violet?”
From noble mtl dot com
“Yes sir! That’s exactly it.”
Well then, there was no doubt that she was an inheritor of one of the seven sins of the demon king.
Having learned such explosive information, Gu Ming didn’t care about extorting small amounts of money anymore.
“Lead the way.”
“Yes sir.”
And so Kevin led Gu Ming all the way to the entrance of a dungeon.
“Sir, this is where we keep our prisoners. The person you’re looking for is down there. May I leave now?”
Gu Ming gave him a friendly smile.
“Of course.”
Suddenly he plunged his curved blade into Kevin’s body. Stunned and bleeding from his stomach wound, Kevin managed to gasp out,
“You have no honor…”
After uttering these words he collapsed onto the ground. Gu Ming flicked off blood from his blade and kicked Kevin’s corpse into nearby bushes with an air of resignation.
“How can you blame me? You were killed by Tang San; what does that have to do with me?”
…
Upon entering deeper into dungeon after dispatching several guards with swift strokes from his blade – none higher than third rank – Gu ming felt like a wolf among sheep as he rampaged through them ruthlessly.
Once everyone had been dealt with, he ventured further inwards. Seeing dried corpses and monster specimens inside made him feel somewhat chilled.
“Damn, this is seriously messed up. They’ve got everything here, even a monster whip. Shit, it’s really hard on the eyes.”
After walking for what felt like forever, Gu Ming finally arrived at the place where prisoners were held. There were all sorts of races here and not a few corpses either. Some creatures stitched together were even preserved in jars.
Gu Ming opened the cell doors one by one for those who were still alive – demi-humans, humans, dwarves, elves – about 20 in total. He used his system to check their names and when he realized none of them was who he was looking for, he decided to let them go.
“The guards outside have been dealt with so you can relax,” he told them. “But keep your voices down as you leave or don’t blame me if my blade doesn’t discriminate.”
Everyone nodded and scattered to escape from there. As Gu Ming ventured deeper into the facility, he saw a nun chained up and instinctively checked her details:
Name: Violet
Race: Human (Succubus Awakening)
Level: 12 (Awakening)
Skills: Healing Light (Low Level), Holy Light Barrier
(Succubus Skill Awakening)
Upon finding her, Gu Ming immediately cut her chains intending to take her away with him. At that moment Violet was lost in an internal struggle and didn’t resist at all; she just stared blankly as Gu Ming carried her away.
Once they had escaped from Bear Territory with Violet in his arms, Gu Ming didn’t forget to throw some fireballs back at the facility for good measure – no way was he going to spare those monsters in jars.
After leaving Bear Territory behind him found an open space where he set Violet down gently but frowned upon seeing how lost she seemed.
“This situation is obviously not normal,” said Gu Ming observing black smoke rising from her body along with a system message indicating a Succubus Awakening. “Is she turning evil? Even though she’s a villain like me, I can’t help but think this transformation is something she won’t be able to handle.”
Gu Ming stroked his chin, pacing back and forth as he thought about what to do.
“What should I do with you?” he muttered. “Ah, I’ve got it! Don’t I have this skill?”
He used magic to set up a barrier around them that would make them invisible to others and then used his Dream Entry skill to enter Violet’s dreamscape.
Once inside the depths of Violet’s psyche…
Gu Ming found himself
On the threshold of the inn, Violet hugged her knees and sobbed softly. Her tear-filled eyes looked at Gu Ming.
“Who are you?”
“I am…”
Before he could finish, Violet roared angrily.
“I know who you are! You’re here to kill me, to kill us all! We haven’t done anything wrong. Why won’t you leave us alone? Why? We came here to help you all. Why must you kill us? What have we done wrong? Tell me, tell me!”
Violet screamed in agony, clutching her head.
Gu Ming scratched his head in confusion as he watched her cry out with all her might. This was not the Lustful Sin he remembered.
In his memory, Lustful Sin was irresistibly seductive; she had long legs that could squeeze a man to death and a body proportioned like gold itself. Every frown and smile of hers would captivate hearts. No wait… why am I telling this to Yan Zu? Simply put: when she bewitches you, your mind will be trapped in an endless illusion filled with erotic thoughts until your body is drained dry by these illusions at a visible speed – such horror! Could any veteran withstand such a test?
Without understanding what had happened, Gu Ming didn’t know how to respond to Violet’s words.
As Gu Ming hesitated, another version of Violet appeared – this one cloaked in black – and embraced the original Violet with an enchanting voice,
“It’s your fault everyone died. Have you forgotten?”
Violet seemed incredulous; her voice trembled as if she were both questioning and confirming,
“Did I cause everyone’s death?”
“Yes indeed it was your doing! Without you they wouldn’t have died.”
“I caused everyone’s death.”
“Yes it’s true – isn’t it painful? Do want escape from this painful world? Give me your body then – once I have it then you can leave this painful world and join the others.”
“Give me your body quickly, then you can join the others.”
Violet’s eyes became somewhat vacant again, like a lost lamb searching for light.
“Give my body to you?”
“Indeed, surrender your body to me.”
“I must find everyone; I need to surrender my body to you.”
Upon hearing this, the black-clad Violet knew she had already succeeded by a large margin, her lips unconsciously curving into a smile.
